Boeing Starliner Astronaut Launch Scrubbed

Boeing Starliner Astronaut Launch Scrubbed

NASA Press Conference Scheduled for Tonight

NASA will hold a press conference tonight at 10:30 p.m. EDT to discuss the scrubbing of tonight's Boeing Starliner astronaut launch. The launch was originally scheduled for 12:25 p.m. EDT on Saturday, June 1, from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The launch was scrubbed due to a problem with the spacecraft's propulsion system.

The Starliner spacecraft is designed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station. This mission would have been the first crewed flight of the Starliner spacecraft. The two astronauts who were scheduled to fly on this mission are Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Sunita Williams.

NASA is investigating the problem with the propulsion system and will announce a new launch date once the issue has been resolved.
